THREE THOUGHTS:

1. Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so up my alley. I was doodling cartoons like this in high school with Lauren.

2. I love where humour has gone. The evolution to this sort of nihilistic, no-holds-barred, fantasy playland of theme and language use is incredible. (Even my granddad watches South Park these days.) Truly iconoclastic yet within a framework that our generation can create icons of... A paradox maybe.

3. Interesting play on themes: a creation story for gay 8 year olds who love unicorns (really, who doesn't love them?). It's interesting to think about how much of our generation's humour, storytelling, media experience, etc. is based on creating our own ideal worlds, where we can do/say/think anything and where we can utilize the icons of our childhood in any perverse way we want, to create an expression of our own condition, based on the mainstream images/characters we all grew up with... My Little Pony meets Kids in the Hall.
