Dream Team
For all this talk about if an Obama/Clinton ticket would be a good or bad idea, it's surprising that no one has actually polled it. My instinct is that it would actually be a pretty solid ticket but I'd like to see a national poll that puts Obama/Clinton against McCain and a generic Republican VP candidate.

I know it's a long shot, but a Obama/Edwards ticket would be solid hot. Especially, since I've heard over and over again on these radio call-in shows that I like to listen to (as well as on the News Hour and NPR)--yes, I understand who that audience is--that a good number of the last minute undecided vote, a sizeable population actully, were originally Edwards supporters. Nothing new there, right?
I fear though that the media has stirred up this craze for diversity and as a result the DNC will respond to that voice, not the voice of the people who might actually care.
Then again, anyone who would have voted for Edwards to begin with would most certainly NOT vote Repub...
I totally agree that Edwards would be a solid candidate. I also think there ARE Edwards supporters that may vote Republican...just look at the 14% who voted for him YESTERDAY in West Virginia. They're obviously not sold on either Obama or Clinton. But because he was already the VP candidate on a losing ticket, there's probably a better chance that Obama's pick will be me (and I patriotically offer my service) than John Edwards.
John McCain
Condo Rice
as solid as it gets
bile just rose up from my belly and actually bypassed my mouth to enter my nose
